Technology

We own the following technologies:

  1. Aerosol production technology;
  2. BOV aerosol production technology;
  3. Technology of producing liquid products in plastic or glass containers.

AEROSOL PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY

AVEFLOR Corp. has been producing aerosols since its foundation in 1995. Aerosol product packaging is a simple dosing system. The aerosol container is made of steel, aluminium, glass or plastic, it is tightly closed and stamped with and aerosol valve. The container contains a mixture of liquid, powder, emulsion or suspension and of the aerosol propellant, which expels the mixture out of the container with a gauge pressure of around 0.4–0.9 MPa.

Solutions, suspensions and/or some emulsions are prepared in AVEFLOR Corp. in three 1 m3 stainless steel tanks, one 3.6 m3 stainless tank and in smaller mobile bins. The standard emulsions are prepared in duplicated bins made of stainless steel sized 0.6 m3 a 2 x 2 m3. The solution, emulsion and/or suspension are pumped from the bins through stainless steel pipes to the filling line of the Swiss company PAMASOL (Macromat 2045 and Micromat 2015), located within the “clean premises”. The filling spouts dose the product into the container, close it with the aerosol valve and fill it with the appropriate aerosol propellant through that valve. At the filling line inside the adjustment room, the filled and closed container is then assembled with a disperser, applicator or a spray cap, then closed with a lid, printed with the number of the production batch and statistically weighed. The final aerosol products are packed in group packaging according to the request of the customer. They are wrapped in a stretch foil or inserted into cardboard boxes. The Willet printer then prints a black-and-white label for the packaging or the products can be placed into printed cardboard boxes. You can follow the manufacturing process on the video.

PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY OF MECHANIC DISPERSERS

Solutions or light emulsions are prepared in the same production facilities as the aerosols with aerosol propellant. The filling spouts of the filling line of the Swiss company PAMASOL in the “clean premises” dose the product into the container and close it with a valve with a mechanic disperser. The following steps of the production process are the same as already shown above at the production of aerosols with aerosol propellant.

BOV AEROSOL PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY

AVEFLOR Corp. launched the production of sprays with the BOV method in 2007. It is a unique technology; AVEFLOR Corp. is the first company to use it in the CR. The filling spouts for filling products by this technology were purchased from the Swiss corporation PAMASOL, a technological leader in this field. What is the essence of this technology?

The essential benefit of the technology called BOV (bag-on-valve) is the ability to separate the product from the aerosol propellant. Thus, the mixing of the aerosol propellant with the product is avoided. This is achieved by filling the product into a valve with a bag (usually made of aluminium) and the gas is then blown between the bag and container as shown on the enclosed picture .

BOV (bag-on-valve) aerosols contain solutions, emulsions, suspensions, mousses and/or gels in a separate bag, which is a part of the aerosol valve. The space between the side of the aerosol container and the separate bag is filled with the aerosol propellant, which expels the bag contents out of the container with a gauge pressure of around 0.7–0.9 MPa. The solutions, emulsions, mousses and gels are prepared in duplicated stainless steel bins sized 0.6 m3 and 2 x 2 m3. The suspensions are prepared in a mobile bin made of stain- less steel. The products are pumped from the bins through stainless steel pipes to the filling facility of the Swiss company PAMASOL located within the “clean premises”. An undercapcrimper closes the container with a BOV valve, while at the same time blowing in the aerosol propellant (air, nitrogen). The container filled with the aerosol propellant is then passed under the filling spout, which doses the yet unfilled product into the container through the aerosol valve. At the filling line inside the adjustment room, the filled and closed BOV aerosol container is then assembled with a disperser or applicator, closed with a lid, printed with the number of production batch and statistically weighed. The final BOV aerosol products are packed in group packaging in line according to the request of the customer.

What are the advantages of this technology?

  • complete product protection and integrity;
  • prevention of mixing the product with the aerosol propellant;
  • safety: filled with compressed air or nitrogen only;
  • VOC types of aerosol propellant are not used;
  • environment friendly;
  • the aerosol is operational in any position;
  • aerosol form can also be used when other classical technologies fail (gels, suspensions and emulsions).

What products can be produced as BOV aerosols?

  • gels (hair and body gels, shaving gels, gels for medical, food industry and technical purposes);
  • solutions, suspensions, emulsions;
  • hair and body care products, liquid soaps, cleansing cosmetic articles;
  • medical and pharmaceutical preparations;
  • products incompatible with the aerosol propellant;
  • environment friendly products.

Picture description: The BOV valve is inserted into the aerosol container. In the next step, the circumambience of the valve is filled with the aerosol propellant (air or nitrogen), the pressure is checked, then the bag is filled with the product, the container is weighed and assembled with a suitable disperser. The final product is ready for use.

TECHNOLOGY OF PRODUCING LIQUID PRODUCTS IN PLASTIC OR GLASS CONTAINERS

In 2007, AVEFLOR Corp. launched the production of liquid products packed in plastic or glass containers. The solutions and emulsions are prepared in duplicated stainless steel bins sized 0.6 m3 and 2 x 2 m3. The suspensions are prepared in a mobile bin made of stainless steel. From the bins, the unfilled products are pumped through stainless steel pipes to the filling facility UNIKO, located in the “clean premises”. Here, the liquids are filled, closed with a lid and then moved on a conveyor belt into the adjustment room. The next step includes marking of the products with a production batch number, labelling, statistic weighing and packing them into group packaging. The production procedures can be viewed at the enclosed CD.

TECHNOLOGY OF PRODUCING GELS IN PLASTIC TUBES

The gels are prepared in stainless steel bins sized 0.6 m3 and 2 x 2 m3. From the bins, the gel is pumped through stainless steel pipes to the UNIKO filling facility located in the “clean premises”. The filling facility fills the gel into a plastic tube and closes the tube with a thermal weld. The filled and closed gel is then moved on a conveyor belt into the adjustment room. The next step includes marking of the products with a production batch number, labelling, statistic weighing and packing them into group packaging. The above technologies can be used for production of the following products to be filled into glass or plastic containers:
  • pharmaceuticals and medical preparations;
  • veterinary pharmaceuticals, veterinary preparations and veterinary technical aids;
  • cosmetic preparations;
  • food supplements.

The following forms of product can be filled into the glass or plastic containers:

  • solutions;
  • emulsions;
  • suspensions;
  • gels;
  • creams.
